Each staff member achieves an orthodontic assisting certification.

Human Resources Office Manager
Ileana administrates Human Resources, as well as, the management needs of the office. She completed a Masters Degree in Personnel Administration. She is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and speaks both Spanish and English. In her free time, Ileana enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Anabel is here to guide you through the process of starting your orthodontic treatment. She will be happy to answer all of your questions regarding treatment options, scheduling, and insurance. She will also assist in making financial arrangements and options. Anabel is also cross-trained so she is able to assist the doctor whenever needed! In her free time, she enjoys going to amusement parks, taking her puppy Rex to the park, and going out for brunch!
Shawna has 20 years of orthodontic experience. She has been with Toro Orthodontics for three years. Originally from California, she relocated to Florida 27 years ago. She loves to spend time with her family and her dog Jasper. She is a grandmother of six, and is fond of sports and gardening.
Luz Tatiana Vera
Front Office Representative
Luz has been with the office for four years. She speaks Spanish and English and enjoys interacting with our patients. She likes cooking and spending time with her two teenage boys. She is also involved in Cub Scouts as a Pack Leader.
Lead Orthodontic Assistant
Dianelys has worked in the dental field for 14 years. Dianelys loves to help patients achieve beautiful smiles. She is originally from Cuba and is bilingual. She is the proud mom of two boys.
She enjoys making jewelry, painting, and other art projects.
Our newest team member has been an orthodontic assistant for 8 years. She is bilingual and a native of Cuba. Her family moved to Tampa when she was 7 years old. In her free time she enjoys music and salsa dancing with her husband.
